M-ATV Conversion

I took the GHQ model and decided to convert a few to the British equivalent, the Husky vehicle. The only differences between the M-ATV and the Husky are the painted wheel arches and the different turret design.

The Husky MRAP
I cut up bits of plasticard and then glued them in postion

I then added a 50 cal. from CinC
As this models wheels don't come off I would really struggle to
find away to lower the chassis of the vehicle.
I could also remaster the front of the vehicle. But I think it
would up losing more detail. Besides I'm happy with the finished result.
I think adding a gunner will make it look a lot better but apart
from that I'm pretty happy with the overall result for now. I could also
adjust the front window screen to make it one single pain.
Here are all the patrol vehicles I've been working on. The Cougar MRAP's and the Fennenk.
If you interested in any of these miniatures, GHQ supplies all of them.

Helicopter Assault

Here are a few pictures showing a few games that revolved around an initial helicopter assault. Makes for some good photo opportunities. I tried out this scenario with a Marine Task Force and then a British force.

 A Heroics and Ros F22
A HanR EuroFigther
 A Revel Harrier

A close up on a HanR V22. I might replace them with their GHQ
counter parts, cause these really are lacking in any crisp detail.
But what do you expect at £2 a model.

First Ship Complete!

Another update showing all the work I've been up to over the Easter Break. One of my main aims for this year is to build up an amphibious task force for ship to shore operations. The first ship I worked on was a conversion of a Revel NS Savannah. I converted the ship in order to for fill a light amphibious role.

All of the aircraft used are from a Revel 1/350 pack.

I added some PE from white ensign models
The crane would be used to bring up supples
